SideChef, a Shanghai-based recipe startup, recently partnered with Walmart to deliver customers a unique grocery purchasing experience. I updated SideChef’s website design and added new functionality, built banner ads, created social media posts to target key demographics, and made a presentation deck to portray the company’s vision. After testing and analyzing UX research, we found that the placement of our “Add to Cart” buttons as well as our “Fulfilled by Walmart” callout was critical to the conversion rate.
